They are looking to recruit a Customer Service Executive to join their already successful team.

Job Purpose:

  • To support the external sales team by working as a team towards agreed set targets and profitability goals. To provide a high level of sales support/ customer service by ensuring all enquiries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
  • To offer a high standard of Customer service at all time


Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and development of Area customer base.
  • Monthly review Sales and Gross Profit against Target
  • Ensure customers receive calls as and when required, which will be dictated by customers instruction or ordering pattern.
  • Maximise the sales of packaging materials to our existing customer base, through the introduction of new products and securing additional business from the competition.
  • Support Field Sales in the development of brand new business by telephone canvassing, appointment making, introduction letters, quotations and quotation follow up, sample request and the opening and administration of new accounts.
  • Order taking and processing from proactive and reactive telesales calls.
  • Liaison with Field Sales Team, Purchasing, Credit Control, Print and Artwork Departments, Administration and other Distribution Centres.
  • Play an active role in the improvement of performance and efficiency of the Customer Services Department.
  • Handle customer complaints arrange product returns and credit notes.
  • In conjunction with the National Sales Team, organise, follow-up and monitor mailshots on existing or new product developments, services and general customer communication


Skills & Experience:

  • Candidates need to have minimum of 1 year’s customer service / office experience and be used to dealing with customers over the phone. Proven account management and project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to procedures and deadlines



  • Up to £ pa depending on experience
