We are looking for and enthusiastic, confident, engaging and results focussed person to join the Finance team as a Payroll Administrator. This is an office-based role working within the finance team at our Head Office in Rathcoole Co Dublin.

The role will require the successful applicant to embrace following objectives and responsibilities as Payroll Administrator.



The Position:

Contract:                         Part Time (Permanent)

Reporting to:                  Head of Finance

Hours of work:               16-24 hours per week

Location:                         Head Office – Rathcoole



Job Description


  • Ensuring the accurate and timely end to end processing of the weekly and monthly payrolls for the Company
  • Balancing timesheet hours against contract hours to ensure correct payment.
  • Calculation of Overtime for employees
  • Calculation of Holiday pay
  • Maintaining the time management system i.e., new employees, leavers, annual leave, absences etc., accurately and in line with legislative and company policies
  • Responding to all payroll queries from employees, HR, and management
  • Review weekly subsistence claims and allowances for processing on payroll
  • Employee Expense Payments
  • Pension scheme reconciliation and reporting
  • Process and regular review of BIK
  • Completion of various Social Welfare / CSO forms
  • Assisting the Finance Team as and when required
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive records and information


  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and integrity
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure / to deadlines
  • Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative when required
  • Strong Numerical Ability


  • Previous experience of using payroll software and processing payroll
  • Knowledge and experience of ROI Payroll, PAYE and Revenue requirements
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & Outlook
  • Experience of using Time Management Systems an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
